What are your responsibilities at Circular Materials?
I am responsible for administrative management and financial planning. This includes cash-flow forecasting, preparing budgets and the company’s business plan, as well as overseeing management control.
What is your educational background?
I worked for several years in a strategic consulting firm and later in a bank specializing in private investments. I subsequently served as the director of a company in the food production sector for 15 years.
How have you developed your skills at CM?
My specialization in finance has been particularly useful for the activities I carry out at CM. Cash-flow monitoring and planning are essential for the growth of a startup.
The greatest challenge lies in applying established management methodologies to a context in which research and development are among the company’s core activities.
How would you describe your relationship with the team?
As one of the more “senior” members of the team, I truly appreciate the informal atmosphere at CM. It is always a pleasure to come to the company and interact with people who pursue their work with such passion. More broadly, I believe that my extensive professional experience complements the enthusiasm of a young and dynamic team.
What aspects of Circular Materials’ project do you appreciate the most?
The role CM plays in building a sustainable economy combines the challenge of developing a business with a strong environmental and social mission. Our technology makes it possible to harness the key elements at the core of our industrial processes while reducing energy waste and environmental impact. These are invaluable motivations for committing to this exciting challenge.
