On June 25th, Circular Materials had the pleasure of participating in the inaugural edition of the Eurometaux Annual Conference, hosted by the European Metals Association in Brussels.
Our Director of Business Development, Riccardo Momoli, took part in a panel discussion on how the Clean Industrial Deal can help build a more competitive, sustainable, and resilient non-ferrous metals sector across Europe.
At the event, we showcased our work in scaling a network of industrial hubs to recover strategic metals—including nickel, copper, and platinum group metals—from complex liquid waste streams produced by sectors such as semiconductors, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, and electroplating.
Our approach is closely aligned with key European policy initiatives:
These efforts are united in RECOVER-IT, our flagship initiative officially recognised as a CRMA Strategic Project by the European Union.
We are currently developing the first Circular Materials Hubs in Italy and across the EU—a scalable blueprint for strategic metal recovery and responsible sourcing in Europe’s future materials supply chains.
Participating in this conference was a valuable opportunity to connect with key stakeholders and exchange ideas on how to collaborate in advancing the Clean Industrial Deal and securing a resilient European raw materials ecosystem.
At Circular Materials, we believe that building a circular Europe starts one recovered metal at a time.
