Chemical and Process Engineer

Circular Materials specializes in recycling, recovering, and valorizing metals and critical raw materials (#CRMs) from industrial wastewater. Using cutting-edge patented technologies, we transform the traditional linear consumption model, accelerating the transition to a circular economy and converting waste into valuable resources. Recognized for our impact,  we have been selected by the European Commission as a Strategic Project  under the Critical Raw Materials Act, alongside three other projects in Italy and 46 across Europe.

To expand the team, we are seeking a dynamic, motivated Chemical and Process Engineer to
join our team and tackle the challenges of ecological transition.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and optimize chemical and industrial processes for sustainable production.
  • Support the design, simulation, and implementation of new plants or modifications to
    existing ones.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop cutting-edge chemical and environmental solutions.
  • Monitor process performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Participate in research and development projects related to green chemistry and resource
    recovery.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Chemical or Process Engineering.
  • At least 10 years of experience in the chemical sector and in on-site design of industrial plants.
  • Proven experience in water treatment, chemical, and related plants.
  • Technical expertise in preparing P&ID (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams) and P&F
    (Process Flow Diagrams).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in team.
  • Knowledge of process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Hysys, ProII) is a plus.
  • Excellent knowledge of English.
  • Dynamic, flexible, proactive, punctual, and precise attitude.

Place and working hours: Cadoneghe (PD), full-time: Monday to Friday.

RAL: €30.000,00 – €70.000,00
