What are your responsibilities at Circular Materials?
I work as an Engineering Specialist in the Technical Office’s engineering team. I’m involved in the industrial scale-up of the pilot plant in Cadoneghe. It’s a very educational and, above all, stimulating project for me.
What is your educational background?
I hold a master’s degree in Chemical and Process Engineering from the University of Padua, and I completed my thesis internship here at Circular Materials.
How have you developed your skills at CM?
My work is closely connected to my studies, so part of my skills comes from my university background, then from my thesis project, and finally from the hands-on experience I’m gaining with my team, engineers Enrico Mion and Serena Guzzo, which has been extremely formative.
How would you describe your relationship with the team?
I’d say it’s excellent, both on a professional and personal level. Communication flows well and that makes teamwork very effective.
What aspects of Circular Materials’ project do you appreciate the most?
I’m drawn to the core idea of the company: recovering waste and turning it into a new product through an innovative process. When I chose Chemical Engineering, I already imagined myself working in the sustainability field.
