I also manage procurement for my area of responsibility, ensuring a direct link between R&amp;D needs and investment decisions. In addition, I oversee our internal laboratory and coordinate the use of data collected from the lab and from our machines, both for R&amp;D purposes and to meet waste-management requirements.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-abd8edc elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"abd8edc\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>What is your educational background?<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-e04547b elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"e04547b\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p data-pm-slice=\"0 0 []\">I began my academic path with a degree in Materials Science, with a focus on organic-based materials. I continued in the same direction through a research fellowship in collaboration with a pharmaceutical company, where we developed a new continuous-flow process for synthesizing a drug at laboratory scale. Later, during my PhD, this path intersected with inorganic chemistry, leading me to develop hybrid materials for hydrogen production.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-0dd714f elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"0dd714f\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>How have you developed your skills at CM?<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-f794cc4 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"f794cc4\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Joining CM required me to apply my previous knowledge to fully understand the supercritical water process, while also developing basic engineering skills to contribute to the design of our internally developed equipment. As the person responsible for both the lab and the R&amp;D team, I\u2019ve also strengthened my abilities in project and team management to support the company\u2019s goals.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-2b9a74e elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"2b9a74e\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>How would you describe your relationship with the team?<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ddab7d9 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"ddab7d9\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>I try to be a manager who listens, who encourages people to think critically and find the best possible solutions to the challenges we face. Unfortunately for them, I\u2019m quite meticulous\u2014I like things to be done with precision and method.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-97ec3ee elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"97ec3ee\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>What aspects of Circular Materials&#8217; project do you appreciate the most?<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-3963c37 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"3963c37\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>I believe CM\u2019s innovative approach to the enormous challenge of heavy metal recovery is truly unique in the European landscape. It makes the company ambitious and constantly striving for improvement.
